Pikaia Lodge, renowned as the most luxurious hotel in the Galapagos Islands, entrusted me with a pivotal role in their latest venture. Tasked with crafting visually compelling content for their new website and rebranding efforts, I assumed the multifaceted responsibilities of director, cameraman, editor, colorist, and more. My comprehensive involvement encompassed all aspects of the production, culminating in the short film you are currently viewing.

The main goal of this film was to beautifully highlight the incredible guest experience at Pikaia Lodge, aiming to inspire people to book their stay. I put all my expertise, creativity, and passion into carefully crafting a visual story that seamlessly brings together the unique aspects that make the Pikaia experience truly special.

Selina

Felix produced a series of promotional films for Selina, a pioneering hospitality brand that caters to the fast-growing digital nomad community. The focus of these films was not to sell Selina as a concept, but rather to promote travel to new and exciting destinations.

To achieve this goal, Felix conducted interviews with two local individuals at each location, capturing the unique cultural significance of each area. This approach proved highly successful, resulting in an effective and seamless production process across Morocco, Greece, England, Ecuador, Mexico and Costa Rica.

With his creative eye and technical skills, Felix was able to bring the property to life and showcase it in a way that truly set it apart from the rest.

He worked closely with the real estate agent and property owner to understand the unique selling points of the property and ensure that these were highlighted in the video.

Summerians offers an immersive experience that introduces participants to a range of new sensations.

Felix's experience and expertise in capturing live action proved to be invaluable for the success of the project. Being a solo filmmaker at an event like Summerians required him to be proactive and think on his feet, constantly adapting to the fast-paced and unpredictable nature of the event.

Approach is an all-inclusive tour company renowned for offering high-end group travel experiences across the world. Recently, Approach collaborated with Felix as a video editor who undertook the task of creating hero videos for each of the company's destinations. Felix used a mix of stock footage and personal shots to produce visually stunning videos that showcased the breathtaking beauty and unique experiences that travellers could expect to encounter on their trips with Approach.

These videos were strategically placed at the end of the sales funnel on Approach's landing page, serving as a powerful tool to entice potential customers to book their next vacation with the company.

IN-RGY

IN-RGY, a leading HR tech solutions provider, has recently received recognition for being one of the Best Workplaces in Canada.

To showcase their 15 years of business, IN-RGY approached Felix to create a video that would capture the essence of their company culture and values.

To ensure the authenticity of the video, nothing was scripted or staged. Felix simply captured the moment as it was, allowing the team's spirit to shine through in their natural environment. From the footage, Felix created a narrative that showcased the company's commitment to sustainability and community engagement. The resulting video not only celebrated IN-RGY's 15 years of success but also demonstrated their dedication to making a positive impact on the world.

Personal Promo

In Banos, a small town located in the Andean region of Ecuador, the Carnaval is celebrated with great enthusiasm. The festival is known for its vibrant water fights, where people throw water balloons and spray each other with water guns.

The Reel was produced with the objective of promoting a local tradition in Banos, Ecuador, known as The Carnaval. Its purpose was to create awareness about the festivities that take place in the region and to showcase them as user-generated content.

Felix’s goal was to capture the essence of Montanita - a unique blend of a laid-back surfer vibe mixed with never-ending parties that defined the town. In order to achieve this, he spent several days immersing himself in the town's culture, filming surfers riding the waves, backpackers exploring the rainforest, and party-goers dancing the night away.

Nazaré Water Fun is widely known as the foremost adventure company in the illustrious Nazaré, the site of the largest waves ever surfed. This reputable company offers an extensive range of adrenaline-pumping experiences that attract thrill-seekers from all over the world.

Felix was assigned to create a hype video that would highlight the exhilarating adventures that guests can embark on with Nazaré Water Fun. Despite the stringent timeline, the entire video production, including filming and editing, was completed in less than 48 hours.
